Golf Mark Award

Birchwood Park Golf Centre has recently achieved the Golf Mark Acreditation. The Golf Mark Award is presented to golf clubs who have shown a commitment to junior golf, by meeting the official `quality` standard from the National Governing Bodies of Golf in England.

Steve Stiller, Head Professional at Birchwood, who has worked hard with his team to obtain this award, fully recognises the importance of junior golf as the future of golf and its traditions. He stated ` I started playing golf at a young age and without the structured junior lessons and enthusiasm shown by the professionals who taught me, I may not have gone on to not only enjoy the game ,but also to become a golf professional myself`.

` At Birchwood, golfers are taught the mechanics of the swing along witht the rules and etiquette of the game, in a fun, enjoyable and welcoming environment`.
